Figured I'd come back to this page to post occasional updates (I'll cross-post to YouTube and elsewhere) so folks curious about what sci-fi and fantasy shenanigans I'm concocting can, well, peer inside the black box. I'll also drop promotional stuff here (see below for that). Anyway, after giving the Wild Nines their curtain call in Lunar Gambit a couple months back, I've been polishing and puttering with an older story not yet finished. I'm not quite ready to announce it yet, but it'll likely be a trilogy published in short order this fall. Cyberpunk adventure with a dash (or two) of laughs to go with the usual mortal terror, world-ending stakes, and bad fashion choices. After that, it's a return to a certain squad and the ruin they've made of their galactic order. So, you know, stay tuned.

If you're curious why Kindle Unlimited, which forces authors into exclusivity with their ebooks, when I've been all over the place for a long time, the answer is twofold: one is the simplest, time. Managing multiple retailers and all their various requirements is simply more than I felt like dealing with. I'm in this to write books, and while I'm not keen on the exclusivity thing, it's easier to push one button than six or seven. The second piece, frankly, is opportunity. I've been running ads and other promotions over the last year experimenting with this, and more than 90% of the clicks on those went straight to Amazon, with almost all the others going to YouTube and audio outlets. We'll see how things change going forward, but for now, you can find the ebooks where (apparently) most of my readers are.
